Books that I read on holiday and a few more.

Hiya,
These are the books that I read on my holiday in Coolum on the Gold Coast.

1. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. This book is my favourite book ever. I totally recommend getting it out of the library and reading it. It is about a boy called Ponyboy Curtis (funny name huh) and his brothers and their gang, and what they get up to.
2. Rumble Fish by S.E.Hinton. This book is my 2nd favourite book ever. This book is about a boy called Rusty-James whose hero is his brother called " The Motorcycle Boy" because he can't live without a motorbike, hence the name.
3. That Was Then, This Is Now by S.E. Hinton. This book is about two boys called Mark and Bryon. They are the best of mates until Bryon gets a girlfriend. The manager of the local bar gets killed defending them. They start to drift apart, and then Bryon finds drugs under Mark's mattress and he calls the police and they take Mark away.
4. The Drowned Maiden's Hair by Laura Amy Shlitz. This book is about a girl called Maud who lives in an orphanage until two ladies come and take her away. Little does she know that they want her in a seance -- to be Caroline, a girl who drowned, and to fool Caroline's mother.
5. April Fools by Diane Hobb. This book is about a girl called Belinda who witnesses someone burning in a car and doesn't help them. She starts to receive messages in lots of different ways of how she is going to have to pay for what she did .
6. The Knight And The Squire by Terry Jones. This book is about a boy called Tom who befriends a boy called Alan who is apprenticed to a knight. Tom gets into lots of trouble with Alan. It sends you doubling up in laughter!
   
7. Sunshine To The Sunless by Gareth Thompson. This book is about a boy called Andrew Kindness who witnesses a murder by quicksand and how it affects his life.

I'm halfway through another two books and I'll update when I've finished them!
